Kickboxing league GLORY teams with Litecoin Foundation, accepts LTC at shop

Today it was announced on the GLORY Kickboxing website as well as on twitter that the premier combat league will now be partnering with the Litecoin Foundation in order to promote the coin as well as offer customers the option of paying with the popular crypto at their shop.

The partnership will see exclusive offers given to customers who use Litecoin to make purchases on the official GLORY store, and GLORY will promote the use of Litecoin at its events and through social media.

This will make GLORY the first professional sports league to embrace Litecoin, and with any luck we will see others follow in these footsteps. Charlie Lee, Creator of Litecoin, had the following to say:

“GLORY has a growing worldwide fan base that consists in large part of a younger demographic who are early adopters of technology and conduct much of their lives online – from consuming content to purchasing products.”

If this partnership goes well it could be a huge step towards seeing crypto get integrated into more aspects of commerce, such as entertainment. As always, stay right here with Chepicap for all updates on this exciting partnership!
